I can't tell if I'm overwhelmed or underwhelmed, so we'll just leave it at whelmed.  I have All-County Chorus next week and the girls aren't ready.  We have our rehearsal again next Wednesday and then the large group rehearsal next Friday all day.  The songs are difficult, it's just getting them to sing their part w/o worrying about the other parts ( Read more... )

After school on Thursday, I drove in to Lynchburg for teh dress rehearsal.  It went okay, I guess.  It was only the 2nd time I read through the music with the ensemble...I've been practicing it on my own.  I managed to get several of the notes...not all, but several :-)

So I've been sick since Sunday morning. EW. Woke up w/ a sore throat and then got progressively worse throughout the day. Drove back to Richmond and climbed right into bed to sleep. It's Monday.  how i loathe Mondays.  the kids are hyper, they talk to much and i feel like all i do all day is yell.
